My Progress

I finished up a couple motifs today! I found if I use Thread Heaven on my Belle Soie it really helps with the fuzzing and fraying. It's making stitching it much more enjoyable! :)

Quaker Christmas

I got a little bit more stitched yesterday. I was thrilled I got to stitch a little yellow motif! :)

Here's my latest update on Quaker Christmas. I didn't get a lot done because I was cleaning all day!

I'm not having as many problems with the Belle Soie because I have made myself become more aware when the strands are starting to fray. When they do I stop using them. So in essence I'm using shorter strands. Looking forward to seeing everyone's progress! :)

Welcome to our new home! :) I hope you like the layout. I tried to find something with red because I know how much Amy likes red!

Well, I have decided to give my Quaker Virtues a new home. I'm going to be sending it to Debby. She kept saying how much she liked the colors, and I decided I really wanted to concentrate on Quaker Christmas, so I decided to send it to her. She is going to SAL with us! :)

Here's my latest progress pic on Quaker Christmas....

I'm stitching it on 40 ct. Vintage Examplar by Lakeside Linens with Belle Soie silks - Cranberry, Collard Greens and Butterscotch. The only thing I don't like about the Belle Soie is that it tends to fuzz up. Other than that I'm very happy with it.
