Update on QC

It had been a month since my last post. Not a lot of progress to show, been busy stitching for exchanges. Hope to stitch more on QC next month. Here is a picture of QC todate.

Hello

I'm Laura from Arkansas, USA. I am so happy to have found this group of stitchers! A member of the CountedCross Stitchers group at Ravelry pointed me to Vonna's blog when I lamented how difficult it was to find a picture of a finished Quaker Virtues sampler. Seeing an actual finished object of a project this size is inspirational. Thanks for letting me join in. I love the great pictures and variety of colors you all have chosen.

My Quaker Virtues sampler is on 40ct linen with the colors Wood Smoke (Gentle Art) and St Bernard (Crescent Colours). I started on Dec 31, 2008, but I don't have much stitching time each day so I expect you all will finish before me. Here's my progress so far:

Quaker Virtues, 3 months

Happy Stitching!

Quaker Virtues Update #1

At last...A Quaker Virtues update! Initially I started out stitching on the blue one, hand-dyed floss by me on 35ct flax linen. I was in love, but then along came a frog and I had to rip, rip and rip.. So, I decided to start stitching it again, but this time in my hand-dyed green floss on 35ct flax linen. I love both of them and hope to be able to finish them both.

Best wishes from rainy Belgium! :)))))

Hi, Everyone!
I am Elena from Antwerp regio. Me and my friend Svetlana have started Quaker Virtues together and then I have found this blog and we would like to join the SAL.
Thank you very much Nicole for including us in this group!
I have chosen 40ct Khaki Sassy’s Fabbys linen and V.Clayton silk Indigo Ocean and Flag II at first but I was not sure about the colors of floss.
I was visiting Nicole’s blog and I really liked her colors for Quaker Virtues. I am such a copycat :))))))...
Here is my progress so far…

Finally!

Hi all, I'm KimV. I've been lurking in the background... making a few comments, but this is my first post... I finally got my threads! This is just a quick show of my materials... I haven't started, so I'm definately behind! I am stitching on Silkweaver ~ Days Gone By 32ct 1/1 with Gloriana threads: Black Cherry, Forest and Old Gold Dark.
Have a great day!
